About Kristi
Kristi Gifford graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School in December 2022. She began working as an attorney at Josh Callahan’s firm in the spring of 2023 after being admitted to the Oregon State Bar, but she initially started work with Josh in early 2016 as the firm’s legal assistant. After working for Josh for several years Kristi began to understand the value of client advocacy for those who have been injured as a result of another’s negligence, which she candidly credits to Josh’s skill as an advocate and his kindness shown to clients in crisis.
Motivated to understand the complexities of the legal system, Kristi studied at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she participated in law review and other campus leadership while working full time for the firm gaining hands-on experience in tandem with classroom education. Her academic and professional interests in tort law, insurance law, and health law continue. She is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and Oregon Women Lawyers. When she is not working, Kristi volunteers her time as a board member of a local non-profit that addresses food insecurity, enjoys reading, and taking her dog, Cooper, to the park to spend time with the neighborhood dog group.
